Friends Forever" is a heartfelt sculpture commissioned by Timaru Girls' High School to commemorate the 100-year centenary of their boarding house in 2021. Crafted with care, this piece captures the essence of unity and enduring friendship, depicting three figures in a warm embrace. Each figure represents a different race, symbolizing the diversity and inclusivity that have defined the school’s community over the past century. Carved from stone and mounted on a sturdy concrete base, the sculpture stands as a timeless tribute to the bonds formed within the boarding house, reflecting both the strength and tenderness of these lifelong connections.
